Sally attended Massey University and graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor of Social Work.She also have a Certificate in Supervision which she gained in 2000. Sally has worked in social work roles in Australia and New Zealand in the health field for most of her career, predominantly in the area of maternal and child health. From 2001 until the end of 2013, Sally was the Perinatal( Maternal) Mental Health Social Worker at Taranaki District Health Board. From November 2013 until November 2015 Sally worked at Tui Ora Limited where she developed the Perinatal and Infant Mental Health role within a Kaupapa service. She is now working part time as the Child Protection Coordinator for Taranaki District Health Board. In addition to this, Sally works in private practice providing primary mental health short term counselling and supervision for a range of social service providers.

Sally has extensive individual, couple, family and group work experience and skills. She is passionate about working with women, has a caring, non judgmental approach and is committed to ensuring that families have opportunities for an improved quality of life.
